MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities of company properties, buildings, equipment and facilities.
  • Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure timely completion.
  • Supervise maintenance staff, technicians and external contractors.
  • Identify maintenance requirements, breakdowns and safety concerns and ensure timely corrective action.
  • Monitor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and other building services.
  • Manage maintenance costs, materials and service providers effectively.
  • Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, repairs and service contracts.
  • Carry out any other duties and special assignments as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in the property/construction industry.
  • Experience in supervising maintenance teams and contractors.
  • Good knowledge of building services, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel between sites and work beyond normal working hours when required.
