JOB ROLE
Comply with the procurement procedure of the company and follow the process.
Calling for quotations, and evaluating the quotations.
Negotiating with the suppliers.
Create purchase orders via system and maintain purchase records.
Coordinate with site staff for material requests/Delivery.
Maintain suppliers’/ vendors’ register with all the relevant documents.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years construction related procurement experience is a must.
Relevant Diploma or professional certificate from a recognized institute would be an added advantage.
Excellent communication skills in both Sinhala & English.
Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP will be an added advantage).
Multitasker and ability in working under minimum supervision.
