MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support effective financial management and decision-making.
  • Finalize periodic financial statements for the company.
  • Prepare project-wise outstanding reports and coordinate with recovery officers to monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Monitor daily bank liquidity positions and ensure accurate reporting of cash positions to support effective Treasury management.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide actionable financial insights to management to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Conduct project-wise and business-unit-wise financial analysis, including profitability and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards, including IFRS/LKAS.
  • Liaise with the Internal Audit Department and coordinate responses to audit queries, 
  • Review and approve the supplier payment process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper financial controls.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial, management, and analytical reports as and when required by management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional Qualifications: Fully qualified or finalist status in CA Sri Lanka ,CIMA (UK), or ACCA (UK).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in management accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
